Privacy Policy

This policy explains what 2KFR collects and how it's used. We try to collect only what the community features actually need.

What we collect

  • Account info: your email, display name, and password (stored only as a salted scrypt hash — never in plain text). Optionally a bio, position, favorite team, and avatar you choose to add.
  • Your activity: the plays, threads, posts, comments, reactions, saves, and follows you create, plus derived stats like points, tier, quests claimed, referrals, and view counts.
  • Wallet & credits: your credit balance and a history of credit transactions (earnings, purchases, redemptions).
  • Uploads: images you upload (avatars, post images, blog covers).
  • Technical: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a timestamp of when you were last active on the board.

Cookies & local storage

We use one essential, http-only session cookie to keep you logged in. We store a small flag in your browser's local storage to remember that you dismissed the welcome banner. We do not currently run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

Third-party content

Some pages embed YouTube and X (Twitter) content. When it loads, those services may set their own cookies and receive your request data under their own privacy policies.

Payments

If and when paid checkout is enabled, card payments are processed by Stripe — your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We keep a record that a purchase completed.

How your data is used

To run your account, show your public profile and creations, operate the credits economy and community features, and keep the platform safe (moderation and abuse prevention). We don't sell your personal data.

Your choices

  • Edit your profile details anytime on your account page.
  • Manage which notifications you receive from your account settings.
  • To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us (below).
