Shot Tracking Project Events and History

How the tracking works

Charted by hand, shot by shot

Every shot logged. We watch the film and record each attempt - the action, coverage, location, timing, and result - into the tracking sheet.

Real efficiency. From that we compute FG%, eFG%, 3PT% and points-per-shot by situation, so the leaderboards reward true shot quality. eFG% counts a three as 1.5 shots, so it can climb past 100% on a hot night.

A year-long project. Coverage spans multiple leagues and events across the 2K26 season - the numbers grow every week as more games are charted.
